Sourced from the famous Brown Ranch Vineyard in the heart of Los Carneros A V A. Older vines are rooted in loam/clay mix soils that run very deep. Los Carneros in general (but this vineyard in particular) is known for cooling winds off the Pacific paired with bright, clear sunshine for great ripeness and freshness; this vineyard has a gently-sloping South-facing aspect to maximize the effects of both. The result is crisp, concentrated, focused Chardonnay grapes.
